Overview
In 1965, Shelby American gave Ford its first true high-performance Mustang, the Shelby G.T.350. Only 562 were built in 1965, a scarcity that made these cars highly collectible as the decades rolled on. But now one of the best ideas from the 1960s is coming back to life, with the introduction of the 1965 Shelby G.T.350 Continuation car.
Shelby American offered both a street and competition version of the sports car. They are street legal and can be registered in all 50 states, as well as most countries worldwide.
Built from donor vehicles of genuine 1965 and 1966 Mustangs, with factory VINs intact, and outfitted like their 1965 counterparts, these cars will be sold through Shelby American, Inc. Both “Resto-Mod” and original style versions are offered.
Fitted with either a cast iron or aluminum small block V-8 from the Carroll Shelby Engine Co. and backed by either a top-loader 4-speed or 5 speed Tremec, the Continuation ShelbyG.T.350 offers a pure driving experience unlike anything else available today.
Production of the Continuation 1965 ShelbyG.T.350 Mustang will be limited to 100 cars, and each will go into the Shelby Registry as an official Shelby vehicle. A new generation of ShelbyG.T.350’s is pulling out onto pit road. Claim yours before the final lap is run.
